Production continues on Wyoming Triumph. The snow has shut off in the last week and though we're doing alright, we could definitely use some more. The shooting in and around the resort has been great, but the production crew and the athletes are feeling the need for a re-up on the inspiration and that's gonna require getting out into the great state of Wyoming. Only problems is a lot of the zones that we'd like to check out need a little more snow. 

In the meantime, above are some frames from production during the last week or two, mostly shot in and around the great Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. 

Jackson continues to get more snow. Check out the above video to see the evidence. 

Production continues full steam ahead. Mostly been shooting in and around Jackson Hole Mountain Resort thus far, but feeling like it's time to check out the rest of the state. Chris Kitchen, Trevor Hiatt, Rob LaPier and Tucker Mead are down in Pinedale today, checking out some new zones down there. Word on the street has it that they spent a good portion of their day yesterday digging out snowmobiles - the realities of exploring a new area. Hopefully today goes better. Stay tuned!

On another note, KGB heads down to Miami tomorrow morning, for a day of shooting Mobile Yoga (ie, Yoga on Rollerblades). People laughed at fat skis when they came out too.

Finally getting some snow in Jackson. We got five feet in five days last week and there's supposed to  be more coming this week. We still don't have quite as much base as we're used to for this time of year, but we're slowly chipping away at it. 

Chris went out and shot six days in a row, mostly at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, who was kind enough to give us early access to the lift, so that we could get to the powder before the hungry masses. Above is the short edit that we put together for them. 

We Need Snow!

Production for Wyoming Triumph continues, but we are badly in need of snow here in the Equality State. California is currently getting pounded, but it looks like the precipitation might head south of here. We've had this high pressure parked over us for about a month and it won't quit. Ahh the difficulty of making a movie whose success depends on something that is completely beyond your control: The weather. 

In past years, we could could just pack up the trucks and head to where ever it's snowing (Utah,  California), but this year's movie is all about Wyoming and so we need snow here. Now. Please. 

We're about week into production on our new movie, Wyoming Triumph. It always takes a few days (or weeks), to get really efficient with the whole program. This is especially true when you throw snowmobiles into the mix (see photo above of digging a stuck snowmobile out, for like th 100th time). 

Snow conditions and snowpack have also thrown us a curveball. We have a very shallow snowpack. There are weak, persistent layers and avalanches have been plentiful and scary. This is presents an obvious problem, because most of the stuff that we want to ski and film is in avalanche terrain. What is the acceptable level of risk to get a shot? This a question that we are always asking. 

What we need is more snow. Keep your fingers crossed. 

KGB has officially started production of our new movie, Wyoming Triumph. The movie will be shot exclusively in the great state of Wyoming and will feature terrain and towns that will contrast sharply with our hometown, Jackson Hole.
